Passion Fruit Panna Cotta

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups (480 ml) whipping cream
  • 5 eggs ☑️ ½ cup (100g) white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


For the sauce:

  • 250g Plein Soleil Passion Fruit 
  • ½ cup (100g) white sugar
Preparation:
  1. Place the cream, sugar and vanilla in a pan and bring to the simmer while stirring. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg whites with a fork then add them to the cream mixture. Mix it well with a fork and divide the mixture among buttered molds.
  3. Place the molds in the pan filled 3/4 with water (bain-marie method) & bake at 150°C (90 minutes) or until the surface is golden brown.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. For the sauce, mix the passion fruit pulp & sugar in a bowl.
  6. To serve, turn it onto a dessert plate & spoon the passion fruit sauce over it.
